The brand new A-max has been designed from the ground up to great effect. New high strength materials have resulted in a 10% weight reduction. New running gear allows a widest-in-class bed of up to 1.96m (6’5”).
The A-max is compliant with EEC legislation for protection of pedestrians and cyclists, this also means operators are not exposed to sharp edges. The deck and ramps are lined with a durable high grip surface material, people and cars will not slip. Mudguards are low - with door clearance height of only 16.5cm (6.5"). An infill panel adds strength and prevents road dirt getting onto the trailer or the vehicle being towed.
A brand new ramp loading system promises to change the way this historically elementary operation is regarded, being now faster and easier than a hydraulic tilt-bed. Innovative use of long life materials has created a pull-out ramp that runs as if on rollers.
