Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the My Trailer Parts website.
My Trailer Parts is a trading name of FS Trailers Ltd, Unit 8 Clifton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 7EJ, United Kingdom.
In these Terms & Conditions, "we", "us" and "our" means FS Trailers Ltd trading as My Trailer Parts. "You" and "your" means the person placing an order with us.
These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside any other policies displayed on our website, including our Privacy Policy and any specific product information.
1. Making a Purchase
You can place an order by browsing our website, selecting the products you wish to purchase and adding them to your shopping basket. Once you have finished shopping, you can proceed to checkout and provide the information required to complete your order.
Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review your order and correct any errors.
When you submit an order, we will send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted or that a contract has been formed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before acceptance, including where:
a product is no longer available;
there is an obvious error in the product description or price;
we are unable to fulfil the order for another genuine reason; or
we reasonably suspect that an order has been placed fraudulently or for an unlawful purpose.
A contract between you and us will be formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted, normally by issuing a final invoice or order acceptance confirmation.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
If your order has already been accepted at the stated price, we will not subsequently increase the agreed price unless otherwise permitted by law and agreed with you.
Once an order has been submitted, discount codes cannot normally be added retrospectively. If you believe a valid discount code should have been applied, please contact us as soon as possible and we will consider the request at our discretion.
We accept payment in GBP (£) only.
2. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions and weights displayed on our website are accurate.
However, minor variations may occur, particularly where products are manufactured or supplied by third parties. Product images may also vary slightly from the actual product.
Where a particular dimension, specification, colour or other feature is important to your intended use, please contact us before placing your order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights where goods do not conform to their description, are faulty or are otherwise not of satisfactory quality or fit for their intended purpose.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£) and, unless otherwise stated, include VAT at the applicable rate.
Delivery and any applicable delivery surcharges will be displayed during checkout before you place your order.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or product-information errors. If an obvious error affects an order that has not yet been accepted, we will contact you before accepting the order.
4. Delivery
We deliver orders to eligible UK addresses.
Our standard delivery service covers England, Wales and the Scottish Lowlands, subject to the delivery restrictions set out below.
Free Delivery
Orders over £50 including VAT qualify for free standard delivery to eligible addresses within England, Wales and the Scottish Lowlands.
Delivery Restrictions
We currently do not deliver outside the UK Mainland.
We do not currently deliver to:
BT postcodes;
KW postcodes;
BFPO addresses; or
PO Boxes.
Certain locations within the UK may also be subject to additional delivery restrictions or charges. If your address is not eligible for delivery, we will contact you where appropriate.
5. Dispatch and Delivery Times
All products are subject to availability.
We endeavour to keep our website stock information as accurate and up to date as reasonably possible.
Orders placed before 3:00pm Monday to Thursday will normally be processed for dispatch on the next working day, where the relevant products are in stock.
Orders placed before 3:00pm on Friday will normally be processed for dispatch on the following working day, where possible.
Orders are not processed or dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays.
Dispatch times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we have specifically agreed a guaranteed delivery date with you.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery will be handled by our chosen courier. Delivery times may vary due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where no specific delivery period has been agreed, we will endeavour to deliver your goods within the period required by applicable law.
6. Inspecting Deliveries
We recommend that you inspect your parcel and the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If the packaging appears damaged, please notify the courier and, where possible, record the damage when accepting the delivery. Please also contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate the matter with the courier.
If goods are damaged, missing or incorrect, please contact us promptly and provide photographs or other information where reasonably requested.
Any request to report damage or missing items promptly is intended to help us investigate courier or warehouse issues and does not remove or limit your statutory rights.
7. Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available, an incorrect or incomplete address has been provided, or the courier is otherwise unable to complete delivery for reasons within your control, the courier may return the goods to us.
Where goods are returned to us in these circumstances, an additional delivery charge may apply if you ask us to send the goods again.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
8. Click & Collect
Click & Collect is available where offered on the website.
A member of our team will contact you when your order is ready for collection.
Collection is available between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.
Stock availability is subject to confirmation. Website stock information is intended as a guide and may not always reflect our physical stock position.
You should not attend to collect an order until we have confirmed that it is ready.
You may be asked to provide your order confirmation and/or suitable identification when collecting your order.
If an order is not collected within a reasonable period, we may contact you to arrange collection or discuss cancellation of the order.
9. Back Orders and Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is temporarily unavailable, we may place the item on back order.
Where possible, we will provide an estimated availability date. Back-ordered items are normally dispatched within approximately 3–5 working days, but this is an estimate and may vary depending on supplier availability.
Where an item is expected to be significantly delayed, we will contact you where appropriate.
Unless otherwise agreed, an order containing multiple products may be held until all items are available.
If you would prefer available items to be sent separately, please contact us. Additional delivery charges may apply for separate shipments.
If an item cannot be supplied within a reasonable period, we may contact you to arrange cancellation and a refund of the affected item or order, where applicable.
10. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If an order contains multiple goods that are delivered separately, the cancellation period normally runs from the date you receive the last goods in the order.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel. You can contact us using:
Email: sales@mytrailerparts.co.uk
Telephone: 01480 45 33 33
Address: FS Trailers Ltd, Unit 8 Clifton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 7EJ, UK
You may use the cancellation wording provided at the end of these Terms & Conditions, but you do not have to use that exact wording.
11. Returning Goods After Cancellation
If you cancel an order under your statutory cancellation rights, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and normally within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising your change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Where goods are particularly large or bulky and cannot reasonably be returned by standard post, we will provide information about the likely return cost where required.
You must take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
You may handle goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a sho
12. Refunds Following Cancellation
Where you validly cancel an online order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the payments we are required to refund by law.
This will normally include the cost of the goods and the cost of standard delivery.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option than our least expensive standard delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional cost of the enhanced delivery service.
We will normally issue the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided reasonable evidence that you have returned them, whichever happens first.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have legal rights including a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
We may ask for photographs, details of the problem or other reasonable information to help us identify the issue.
We will not require you to pay return costs where applicable law requires us to bear those costs.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict your legal rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
14. Exclusions from the Standard Cancellation Right
Certain goods may be excluded from the normal 14-day cancellation right under applicable law.
For example, this may include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you.
Where an item is made specifically to your requirements or is otherwise subject to a statutory cancellation-right exception, we will provide relevant information before you place your order where required.
The statutory cancellation right does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or otherwise fail to conform to the contract..
15. Vehicle and Trailer Parts
It is your responsibility to ensure that any product you purchase is suitable for your vehicle, trailer or intended application.
Where a product has specific fitting, load, size, compatibility or technical requirements, please check these carefully before ordering.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, please contact us before placing your order.
We strongly recommend that safety-critical trailer components are fitted by a suitably qualified and competent person where appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
16. Number Plates
Number plates supplied by My Trailer Parts as show/display plates are intended for off-road use, exhibitions, shows, private land and similar purposes only.
They are not supplied as road-legal registration plates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any registration plate fitted to a vehicle used on public roads complies with all applicable legal requirements.
Show/display plates must not be used unlawfully on public roads.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have in relation to goods supplied by us.
17. Discount Codes and Promotions
Where discount codes are offered, they are subject to any conditions stated with the relevant promotion.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
only one discount code may be used per order;
discount codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively after an order has been submitted; and
we reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotional offer where permitted by law.
Any specific promotional terms displayed with an offer will take precedence over this section where applicable.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory rights or our liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Where you are purchasing as a consumer, we will comply with all applicable consumer protection legislation.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint about an order, product or service, please contact us in the first instance.

Telephone: 01480 45 33 33

20. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.
21. Business and Trade Customers
These Terms & Conditions primarily address purchases made by consumers.
If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession, different legal rights may apply.
Where you are purchasing as a business or trade customer, any additional agreed trade terms will apply where relevant.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to incorrectly classify a consumer as a business customer or remove rights that cannot legally be removed.
22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, industrial disputes, transport disruption, supplier failures, government restrictions or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and minimise the impact.
This section does not affect any statutory rights you may have to cancel an order or receive a refund.
23. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version that applies to your order will normally be the version displayed on our website at the time you place your order, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.
24. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and us are governed by the law of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland and applicable law gives you the right to rely on mandatory provisions of the law of that jurisdiction.
